Hmmm – the LA Times Home Section had an article on re-using Bridesmaid dresses.
Susan Maxwell, an interior designer quoted in the article, has a number of good suggestions: Turn the dresses into decorative re-uses.
Yikes: this quote was a bit offkey. Which wedding dress in the past 10 years is a “…big, ballooning thing, with huge trains, capes, and puffy sleeves.” ???
Most modern brides try to choose bridesmaids dresses that can be reused for other occasions. (Right? Yes? yes we do!)
But, if the dress won’t dance, you can donate it to these LA charities that will let girls who can’t afford prom dresses, dance the night away:
