The Democratic National Convention, held in August in Denver, has created strong environmental mandates and standards about food (local and healthy), catering supplies (compostable), transportation, and Democratic Party related consumer goods. Hmmm – the LA Times Home Section had an article on re-using Bridesmaid dresses. Susan Maxwell, an interior designer quoted in the article, has a number of good suggestions: Turn the dresses into decorative re-uses. Yikes: this quote was a bit offkey.
